Enable/Disable Contact Task Status
The contact task status feature in Talk Inbox has been upgraded to provide you with more control over your workflow:
- Enabled: Keep using Open, Pending, and Closed statuses, displayed in Talk Inbox and contact pages. This allows you to maintain your existing workflow, ensuring that you can track the progress of tasks with ease.
- Disabled: Remove the contact task status functionality, displaying contacts based on your set order and filters. This simplifies the view and makes it easier to focus on the contacts that matter most to you. Status controls and audit information will no longer appear in the contact details view, streamlining your interface.
Note: This feature is disabled by default for all new accounts. Existing accounts will retain their current settings, with the option to enable or disable as needed.

New SMS Routing for Ring Groups
We’ve added a new SMS routing feature in the Ring Group settings, designed to route incoming text messages to the most recent agent who interacted with the contact. This improvement is a direct response to customer feedback and offers several key benefits:
- Enhanced Operational Workflows: Ensures that messages are handled by agents who are already familiar with the customer, reducing the need for repetitive explanations.
- Boosted Agent Efficiency: Agents can work more efficiently by picking up conversations where they left off, without needing to transfer knowledge.
- Better Customer Continuity: Provides a seamless and personalized customer experience, improving satisfaction and loyalty.
- Flexible Workflows: Aloware’s platform becomes more adaptable to your unique business needs, allowing for more customized workflows.
Now, incoming text messages are correctly routed based on the last agent interaction, overriding ownership status. The Ring Groups settings page includes a new routing option with clear instructions.
New Users API
Introducing the “Get the list of users” API, available in Aloware’s integration settings. This powerful tool provides a way to seamlessly integrate user management with your existing systems. Here’s what you need to know:
- API Functionality: With a unique API token, this API retrieves a comprehensive list of users associated with your Aloware account. This list can be sent to any designated API endpoint, facilitating a wide range of integrations and automations.
- Data Accessibility: The API ensures that all user data is readily accessible, allowing for real-time updates and synchronization with your internal systems. Whether you need to pull user data for reporting, analytics, or operational purposes, this API streamlines the process.
- Advanced Automation: This API allows you to access specific user details, which you can manage user lists, and interact with the Power Dialer. You can search and clear entries within the Power Dialer, making it easier to manage and streamline your calling campaigns.
- Security and Control: The API is designed with security in mind, ensuring that data is transmitted securely. You have full control over who can access the API and what data is shared, maintaining the privacy and security of your user information.
