Merge Contacts: Simplified contact cleanup
Merging contacts is exclusively available for accounts without a CRM integration enabled and helps you manage duplicate records easily.
How it works:

- Search for the contact to merge with.
- Review merge details, including phone numbers, tasks, communications, tags, and more.
- Confirm the merge to combine records into a single, updated contact.
New Timezone View: Stay in sync
The New Timezone View makes scheduling easier by displaying both your personal time zone and the account time zone side by side.
Highlights:
- View both time zones in the week and day views for clarity.
- Easily verify and adjust the account time zone if needed.
- Refresh to apply updates and ensure accuracy.
Say goodbye to timezone confusion and hello to hassle-free scheduling! 📅✨

Webhooks just got a major upgrade! Now, when you use webhooks, your custom contact fields are included in the payload, giving you even more flexibility and power.
Here’s what’s new:
- Add a webhook (check out the step-by-step guide here).
- Your custom contact fields will now automatically appear within the payload of the request.
Salesforce Default Fields: Enhanced contact and lead mapping
Our Salesforce integration now offers expanded property mapping for a more seamless data sync! This update includes mapping additional fields such as name, address, date of birth, and lead source, ensuring better data visibility and consistency across both platforms.
Key benefits:
- Synchronize key contact and lead data between Aloware and Salesforce.
- Changes in one platform are automatically reflected in the other.
- Improved data accuracy for reporting and streamlined workflows.
Salesforce Contact/Lead Owner Sync: Automatic updates with email-based mapping
Our Salesforce Contact/Lead Owner synchronization uses email-based mapping to ensure ownership changes are automatically updated across both platforms, eliminating manual updates and reducing errors.
Highlights:
- Ownership changes are synced automatically using email-based mapping.
- Admins can initiate syncing with one click from the Salesforce integration section.
- Keeps contact and lead ownership data accurate and consistent.
Tags to Lists: A smarter way to manage contacts
We’re starting a journey to merge tags and lists to make lists the ultimate tool for managing contacts in Aloware! With this update, lists now come packed with more functionality, making them your go-to for streamlined workflows and collaboration.
Why lists are better:
- More structure: Lists provide a flexible, organized way to manage large contact groups.
- Powerful bulk actions: Add contacts to the PowerDialer, enroll them in AI workflows, or assign ownership—all with ease.
- Enhanced collaboration: Public lists let teams work together by sharing access to contact groups.
This is just the beginning! By combining the power of tags into lists, we’re paving the way for a more efficient and user-friendly experience. 🌟
Cost and Usage Page: Simplified and transparent
We’ve updated the Usage Page in Alo Admin to make it clearer and more focused.
Here’s what’s new:
- Streamlined details: The “What’s included in your plan” section has been removed to reduce clutter. Fixed Fee accounts will still see their user account widget.
- Cost & Usage summary: Now shows billable items not covered by invoicing and deducted from account credits for improved transparency.
AloAi Text Bot updates: Enhanced control and visibility
Managing your AloAi Text Bot just got better with updates to the UI, new engagement and enrollment controls, and detailed contact audit logs.
What’s new:
- Enrollment control card: Easily view bot enrollments for each contact. If multiple bots are active, each one appears as a separate entry.
- Engagement control card: Manage bot use cases like sales, support, or Q&A directly from the updated interface.
- Audit logs: Track a detailed history of each contact’s engagement, disengagement, and enrollment with the bot.
These updates make it easier than ever to oversee and optimize your text bot interactions! ✨
Contact and Company cards: Share info instantly
With the new Contact and Company Cards, sharing contact details through Aloware is now easier than ever! Send contact or company information directly via SMS with just a few clicks.
How It works:
- Send a card: Open a conversation in Talk, select the card icon, choose between a Contact or Company Card, and hit “Send Card.” Done!
- Edit card details: Need to update info? Click the “click here” link in the send card box to edit lines or names on the settings page before sharing.
Remove from Power Dialer: Simplify contact management
The Remove from Power Dialer feature makes it easy to take contacts out of all active Power Dialers, perfect for handling “Do Not Call” (DNC) requests or cleaning up your dialing lists.
How it works:
- Locate the contact: Open the contact you want to remove in Aloware.
- Remove with one click: Click the red “Remove” button in the contact’s information section.
New Filters Option: Smarter contact segmentation
Aloware Talk now offers updated filters for segmenting contacts based on recent engagement.
Highlights:
- Filter by engagement within or beyond a specific timeframe (hours or days).
- Separate filters for inbound, outbound, and overall engagement.
- Gain real-time visibility into contact activity for better communication management.
Simplify contact filtering and focus on what matters most! ✨
