What does the Aloware Calendly integration do?

It connects Aloware directly to your Calendly account. Agents and AloAi agents can check availability, book, reschedule, and cancel appointments from inside Aloware, and every booking is logged in the contact's communication history.

Can Aloware's AI agents book meetings on their own?

Yes. AloAi voice and text agents use the same calendars your team does. They check real availability, confirm a time with the caller, and book during the conversation. If a contact is missing the first name or email Calendly requires, the agent asks for it and updates the record before booking.

Do I need a paid Calendly plan?

You bring your own Calendly account and connect it with OAuth. On Calendly's free plan, availability checks work, but creating and cancelling bookings requires a paid Calendly plan. That's a Calendly restriction, not ours.

Can my whole team share one calendar?

Yes. Admins connect company-wide calendars that every agent and AloAi agent can book with, and you can connect more than one Calendly account, like one for sales and one for support. Each rep can also connect a private calendar that only they can use.

Do bookings show up in the contact's history?

Yes. The booking appears in the contact's communication history the moment it's made, next to calls and texts. Reschedules and cancellations show up in the same timeline, even when the customer makes the change through their Calendly link.

What happens to Aloware's built-in calendar?

Nothing changes. It keeps working exactly as it does today. External Calendars is a new option alongside it, and we recommend it as the better way to book.

Will my contacts still get reminders?

Yes. Calendly sends its own email reminders, and Aloware can send an SMS reminder from your own line. The SMS reminder moves with a reschedule and is cancelled if the meeting is cancelled.

Does Aloware also work with Cal.com?

Yes. The same External Calendars feature connects to Cal.com, with the same booking, two-way sync, and AloAi behavior. See our Cal.com integration page for the details.
