This release introduces stronger CRM hygiene through automated HubSpot contact cleanup, clearer communication logs that separate system-generated notes from agent input.

HubSpot Contact Deletion Sync — Automated Aloware Cleanup

Aloware now includes an optional automation that removes Aloware contacts when their linked HubSpot records are deleted, helping reduce stale contact data across platforms.

Admins can enable two separate toggles in the HubSpot Sync settings:

  1. The first deletes an Aloware contact when its linked HubSpot contact is deleted.
  2. The second deletes the contact when all phone numbers are removed from the HubSpot contact.

Both toggles are disabled by default, so the current behavior remains unchanged unless enabled. By default, only the sync link is removed while the Aloware contact stays in the system.

The feature also supports complex contact relationships and compliance requirements. If an Aloware contact is linked to both a HubSpot Contact and a HubSpot Company record, both records must be deleted before the Aloware contact is removed. Phone numbers added directly in Aloware that already contain communication history are preserved, even when all HubSpot phone numbers are removed. Existing compliance and archival rules still apply when communication history is present, and safeguards are included to prevent duplicate deletion triggers.

Separated System Notes and Call Notes in Communication Logs

System-generated notes, such as IVR routing details, now appear in a separate section within the Communication Log. The Call Notes field now contains only agent-written notes, making it easier for managers to review agent input during calls.

HubSpot sync behavior follows the same separation. Only agent-written notes are synced to CRM records, reducing system-generated entries in HubSpot reports and dashboards. Teams using call notes for coaching, quality reviews, or pipeline visibility can maintain cleaner records.

Bug fixes, performance improvements, and platform stability

This release also includes a broad set of bug fixes, integration stability improvements, and performance optimizations across AloAi, HubSpot, Salesforce, Telephony, and Inbox surfaces.
