Quick Summary: Five9 lists Digital at $119 and Core at $159 per concurrent seat per month, with a 50-seat minimum (five9.com/pricing, checked October 13, 2026). Core is the cheapest bundle with voice. The smallest voice order is 50 × $159 = $7,950 a month, or $95,400 a year.
The Plus, Pro and Enterprise bundles are quote-only. Usage-based charges can come on top: telephony billed in arrears, SMS, and AI past 3,000 minutes per bundled seat. Five9's fees page adds three telecom lines: a Federal USF surcharge, a Regulatory Recovery Fee and an Administrative Fee. Contracts can be monthly, annual or multi-year, per Five9's FY2025 10-K.
Five9's pricing page shows two numbers. Its billing portal lists 19 units an invoice line can carry, from Seat to LD Deposit and Overage Minute. On October 13, 2026 we pulled the Five9 documents that carry a price or a billing rule, from the fees page and the FY2025 10-K to a public copy of the master services agreement. Every figure below traces to one of them.
How much does Five9 cost per seat?
Five9 charges $119 per concurrent seat per month for Digital and $159 for Core, and quotes Plus, Pro and Enterprise through sales. Prices are "per concurrent user and usage-based pricing may apply, with a minimum of 50 seats", in the page's words. A concurrent seat is a simultaneous login. Digital carries no voice, so Core is the entry price for any team that takes or places calls.
Pro adds WEM without AI Agent Assist or AI Knowledge. Plus adds those two without WEM. Only Enterprise carries both. The pricing page also shows 31 add-on tiles, from AI Agents to Secure Pay, and prices none of them. Five9's current bundle data sheet was created September 29, 2025. Its 2022 sheet sold Core, Premium, Optimum and Ultimate, with Core as the voice bundle.
What shows up on a Five9 bill beyond the seat?
A Five9 invoice adds usage, add-ons and three telecom fees to the seat line, and Five9 publishes rates for almost none of them. Per the 10-K, subscriptions are "generally billed monthly in advance" and usage fees "in arrears".
Five9's fees page explains the telecom lines. The USF surcharge recovers Five9's required contributions to the Universal Service Fund, and "the USF rate is adjusted quarterly by the FCC". The FCC's proposed contribution factor for the fourth quarter of 2026 is 42.0% of interstate and international end-user telecom revenue (public notice DA 26-946, September 14, 2026). The Regulatory Recovery Fee recoups some of the government fees Five9 pays as a telecom provider, among them "Telecommunications Relay Service, Federal Regulatory Fee, North American Numbering Plan Fee and Local Number Portability charges". The Administrative Fee helps Five9 "defray certain costs associated with telecommunications compliance". Five9 prints no percentage for either.
Ask Five9 in writing whether your order includes minutes. The 10-K describes "bundled plans, generally for smaller deployments" with "unlimited usage in the contiguous 48 states". The pricing page never says whether the $119 and $159 bundles are those plans. Ask for a sample invoice with its Billing Verification Report, too.
Concurrent seats, worked from Five9's own numbers
A Five9 concurrent seat gets cheaper per person only when agents who never work at the same time share it. "Multiple named agents may use a license, though not simultaneously", says the 10-K. Treat a seat like a parking space: one space serves three cars a day only if they arrive in shifts. These examples use only Five9's $159 Core price and its 50-seat minimum.
Four costs do not shrink with the shifts:
- Shift handovers need spare seats. Five9 blocks logins at the cap. With 10 licenses in use, "the 11th agent that will try to log in will get this error message". Every seat held for the overlap is $159 a month at list.
- WEM licenses stay with people. Each concurrent seat includes one named WEM license, and "Named User licenses cannot be shared". Overage bills on the month's peak count of active users.
- The AI allowance follows seats. Fifty seats carry 150,000 AI minutes in total, however many people share them. Five9 does not say whether the minutes pool or reset monthly.
- Supervisors sit outside the count and inside the bill. They "aren't included in the count", yet a supervisor license "is no longer free of charge".
Key takeaway: a Five9 Core seat costs $159 per person on a one-shift team. It falls to $53 per named agent only when three shifts that never overlap share 50 seats, and WEM licenses and AI minutes do not stretch with them.
What contract terms does Five9 offer?
Five9 sells monthly, annual and multi-year contracts, according to its FY2025 10-K. Limited license reductions generally need 30 days' notice, and increases "can be provisioned almost immediately". Larger customers "typically choose annual contracts", which "generally include an implementation and ramp period of several months".
Five9's current master services agreement sits behind a login. A city government posted a 2023 copy publicly, marked as modified from the original. That copy sets these terms:
- Each Service Order renews automatically for its stated period, or for 12 months if none is stated.
- Non-renewal needs written notice at least 30 days before the renewal term.
- Five9 may change Service Fees during a renewal period, at most once every 12 months.
- The customer pays "all sales, value-added, similar taxes, carrier and regulatory fees, and surcharges".
- Late payments carry interest of 1.5% per month, or the legal maximum if lower.
Put the non-renewal deadline in your calendar the day you sign. Get the renewal price cap in writing, since the posted copy cuts off mid-clause.
Five9 pricing claims that conflict with Five9's own documents
Seven claims that appear on third-party Five9 pricing pages conflict with Five9's own documents. Each one changes a budget. We read 13 of those pages on October 13, 2026.
When is per-user pricing the better deal?
Five9's concurrent pricing wins on the seat line for a contact center running genuine shifts above the 50-seat floor, such as a utility's 24-hour outage line or a travel reservations desk. At three shifts that never overlap, Core is $53 per named agent. A per-user plan at $60 or $70 costs more on that line.
A sales or support team that works one shift is the opposite case. Every rep logs in at once, so every rep needs a seat. That is $159 per rep at Five9 list, against $70 for Aloware's uPro + AI on the monthly plan or $60 on the quarterly plan. Five9's telephony usage can come on top, while Aloware's plan includes unlimited agent calling to the US and Canada. Below 50 agents the published floor still applies. An insurance agency, a solar installer or a law firm's intake desk with fewer than 50 agents pays the 50-seat minimum at list, $7,950 a month for Core, unless Five9 writes a custom quote. The pricing page says Five9 also prices by named agents or pay per use, and it publishes no rate for either.
The CRM is the second dividing line. Five9's pre-built CRM adapters cover Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft, Oracle and Zendesk. HubSpot appears as a built-in connection in the Five9 Workflow Automation layer (docs updated July 22, 2026), which carries its own usage-pricing footnote. For a team whose leads live in HubSpot, that gap lands on every rep.
One HubSpot team's move off Five9
One team that moved from Five9 to Aloware in August 2026 shows what a seat price leaves out. They had run on Five9 since 2007 and bought it for its autodialer. When the TCPA rules changed, they switched to dialing one to one. By 2026 they worked only online leads. The owner, on a recorded demo call in July 2026:
"This year we've like totally stopped cold calling. We're only doing online lead gen. [...] but we're still using [Five9]. And it's just become really expensive for what we use it for."
Cost was half of it. The leads landed in HubSpot, and the dialing happened somewhere else:
"we'd love to be able to call those people like within just a matter of seconds. Right now [...] they see the new lead, then they go into [Five9] and dial it manually through there."
That wait has a price. We measured 54,979,006 outbound dials placed through Aloware from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026, across a sample of 1,219 accounts, by time since the contact record was created. Dials placed within an hour of creation connected 28.2% of the time. Dials placed 24 hours or more later connected 18.7% of the time.
Closing that gap is the core of speed to lead: the call starts from the CRM record while the lead is fresh. Aloware's native HubSpot integration runs on every plan. On uPro + AI and xPro + AI, HubSpot workflows trigger calls and texts, and HubSpot lists feed the Power Dialer directly. Pipedrive, Zoho and HighLevel are native on every plan, and Salesforce runs on xPro + AI.
The Power Dialer places one call per rep at a time. Aloware does not build predictive dialing. Dialing ahead of free reps can abandon calls, and the FCC's telemarketing rule caps abandoned calls at 3% of live-answered calls per campaign over 30 days.
The same owner rotated sets of numbers by hand every month or quarter, and swapped in a fresh set when spam labels hit. At Aloware, the Pickup Stack add-ons do that job, priced separately from the seat. NumberGuard monitors numbers and starts remediation when a spam label appears, from $100 a month for 1 to 20 numbers. Branded Caller ID is $0.09 to $0.12 per delivered call, by plan. Local Presence is $300 a month.
Aloware publishes its seat prices. On the monthly plan, iPro + AI, uPro + AI and xPro + AI cost $40, $70 and $100 per user per month. On the quarterly plan they cost $30, $60 and $85 (aloware.com/pricing, checked October 13, 2026). Core AI plans include unlimited agent calling and one-to-one texting to the US and Canada, toll-free excluded. The AloAi Voice Agent answers and calls back leads when no rep is free, from $0.10 per minute. The switching team ran a pilot first and cut over before its Five9 cancellation date. In its second month it averaged about 65 outbound calls per rep per day.
Price Five9 on the full bill: 50 or more Core seats, telephony, SMS, AI past the allowance, WEM and supervisor licenses, three telecom fees, and a contract term you hold in writing. Then price a per-user plan for the same team. Compare Aloware's per-user plans, or book a demo and we will run the Power Dialer against your HubSpot lists.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Five9 cost per month?
Five9 lists Digital at $119 and Core at $159 per concurrent seat per month, with a 50-seat minimum, so the smallest Core order is $7,950 a month before usage and fees (five9.com/pricing, checked October 13, 2026). The Plus, Pro and Enterprise bundles are priced by quote. Usage-based charges for telephony, SMS and AI beyond 3,000 minutes per bundled seat may apply, plus telecom fees.
Does Five9 have a minimum number of seats?
Yes. The Five9 pricing page says its prices are per concurrent user "with a minimum of 50 seats." At list price, a team that logs in fewer than 50 agents at once still pays for 50 seats: $7,950 a month on Core, unless Five9 writes a custom quote.
What is a concurrent seat in Five9 pricing?
A concurrent seat is one simultaneous login. Five9's 10-K defines a license as the maximum number of named agents allowed to access the platform at the same time, and says several named agents may share a license, though not simultaneously. When every seat is in use, the next agent's login is refused.
What fees appear on a Five9 bill?
Five9's fees page lists a Federal Universal Service Fund surcharge, a Regulatory Recovery Fee on interstate and international telecom, and an Administrative Fee applied to all telecommunications charges. Other lines can include telephony minutes, overage minutes, SMS and carrier surcharges, AI minutes past the allowance, WEM overage and supervisor licenses. Five9 publishes no percentage for the Regulatory Recovery Fee or the Administrative Fee.
Does Five9 offer month-to-month contracts?
Yes. Five9's FY2025 10-K says it offers monthly, annual and multiple-year contracts, and that larger customers typically choose annual. A public 2023 copy of its master services agreement renews each Service Order automatically, for 12 months if no period is stated, unless the customer gives notice at least 30 days before renewal.
Does Five9 include calling minutes in the seat price?
The pricing page does not say; it states that usage-based pricing may apply. Five9's 10-K describes bundled plans for smaller deployments that include unlimited usage in the contiguous 48 states, and subscriptions with telephony billed in arrears. Ask Five9 in writing which one your order is.
Is Five9 cheaper than per-user pricing?
It depends on shifts. Three shifts that never overlap, sharing 50 Core seats, pay $53 per named agent a month at list, below Aloware's uPro + AI at $60 on the quarterly plan. A one-shift team pays $159 per rep, against $70 for uPro + AI on the monthly plan ($60 quarterly), which includes unlimited US and Canada agent calling.
Does Five9 integrate with HubSpot?
HubSpot is not one of Five9's five pre-built CRM adapters, which cover Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft, Oracle and Zendesk. HubSpot appears as a built-in connection in Five9 Workflow Automation, which the pricing page footnotes with "Additional usage-based pricing may apply."
